Over the period 2011-2014, BIOMASTER involved seventeen partners with the ambition of exploiting the potential of biomethane production and use in transport, bringing the key actors of the biomethane chain into a joint initiative, stimulating investments and removing non-technological barriers.

Over the period 2011–2014, BIOMASTER involved seventeen partners - from Austria, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom - with the ambition of exploiting the potential of biomethane production and use in transport, bringing the key actors of the biomethane chain into a joint initiative, stimulating investments and removing non-technological barriers. After 36 months, the project was finalised by the 30 April 2014.

This brochure guides you through a description of BIOMASTER's scope of work, the method applied, and the most relevant experiences of the project's seventeen partners, coming from four European regions in Italy, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. A particular focus is given to the partners' situation before and after participating in BIOMASTER, marking results obtained and lessons learned.
